PHA National Conference

The 2016 national PHA conference is being hosted by PHA (Vic) on 19th and 20th August and papers are now being called for.

The conference theme “Working History” will shine the torch on the challenges, triumphs, failures and lessons learned working as a professional historians.  As well as discussing the past, there will be an opportunity at the conference to postulate about the future and what challenges and new practices historians will or may face.

The conference will be a dynamic mix of papers, lightning presentations, panel discussions, debates, forums and exhibitions so there are many ways to contribute.

Abstracts for 20 minute papers (up to 300 words) and expressions of interest for lightning talks and poster presentations should be sent to workinghistory@phavic.org.au by 31 March 2016.

Further details can be found on the PHA (Vic) website.
