Peter Moyes Anglican Community School History, 2000-2025

The School is looking to engage a suitably qualified and experienced historian to prepare a history of the School to commemorate its 25th anniversary in 2025.

The School, situated in the northern coastal suburb of Mindarie, Western Australia, opened in 2000 and offers education from Pre-Kindergarten to Year 12. The School was named after Mr Peter Moyes, former Headmaster of Christ Church Grammar School, a leading educator of his time and instrumental in the establishment of the Anglican Schools’ Commission.

The historian will have access to the School’s archives and photographic collection managed by the School’s Librarian. Part of the project will also include conducting and documenting interviews with key people. The historian will work with the School’s in-house designer and preferred publisher in developing the final publication to be published in 2025.

Historians interested in this project and seeking further information on the project’s scope and budget should contact the School’s Principal, Benjamin Lomas, to register their interest via blomas@pmacs.wa.edu.au
